Direct Marketing
The Direct Marketing Working Group is concerned with options for marketing electricity beyond the fixed compensation of the Renewable Energy Act [EEG]. One goal of this fairly new Working Group is to collect and transfer knowledge about direct marketing. At the same time, problems and impediments to the further development of direct marketing is to be identified. This information will then be forwarded to political decision makers in order to work on suggestions for solutions together. The Direct Marketing Working Group consist of two sub-groups: operators and electricity marketers.
Safety
The Safety Working Group deals with creating safety standards for constructing and operating biogas plants in cooperation with the responsible trade and liability insurance associations. In addition, the group participates in the drafting of the safety rules.
Gas Feed-in
The Gas Feed-in Working Group works on legal and technical issues regarding gas feed-in and gas trade. In addition, it cooperates in the development of technical regulations.
Waste and Fertilizer Law
The Waste and Fertilizer Law Working Group is concerned with technical and legal issues regarding the use of waste, residues and animal by-products in biogas plants as well as the quality and spreading of digestate.
Approval and Approval Practice
The Approval and Approval Practice Working Group deals with legal issues regarding approvals, in particular concerning construction planning law, emission protection and water protection. In addition, the Working Group provides guidance for the respective legislative process and development of technical regulations.
International
The International Working Group supports member companies in terms of information exchange and in creating networks with regard to international biogas markets.
