Chamber and Association Partnership Programme (KVP)

Chamber and Association Partnerships are an effective support programme of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) that has been in place since the 1990s. It aims to overcome poverty in developing and emerging countries by promoting sustainable economic development. With these programmes, the BMZ wants to mobilise the experience and know-how of German business membership organizations for development cooperation, enable direct collaboration of non-government agencies, and pick up on private sector initiatives.
